Optimizations for very large data set

Hi,
I'm trying to use your gantt chart to display a very large amount of data (~500 resources, average of 20 tasks per resource), but it's very laggy (freezes for a few seconds at load time & horizontal scroll is painful).
Do you have any ideas where I might want to look to make things smoother ?
Also, I think it's worth mentioning that the chart will be read-only (no task interaction except for tooltips, no resource reordering)

Currently the charts uses virtual scrolling in horizontal direction only. Therefore it loads all your 500 resources (i guess each one is one row?) at the same time even if only 10-20 of those are displayed on the screen. You can take a look at the ng-repeat filters taskLimit.js and columnLimit.filter.js to see how currently all columns and tasks are filtered. You would need to implement a rowLimit filter similar to those and add it to the row ng-repeat.

@ssamsundar Can you count the number of watchers in your application when you have loaded all the data ?

I'm using a old version of angular-gantt and I dont think it has $$watcher...

When I try to draw 200 task in a row in the current demo, I could able to see the same issue in the current demo.

Use angular.reloadWithDebugInfo() before the snippet (with angularJS >= 1.3)

In demo, adding a single task make 20 new watchers ... It's too much for a single task ... I'll try to look how to reduce this watchers count.
