how add custom html to row

Hi,

Please see the picture below on what I'm trying to implement using ng-grid.....
Basically, I want an expandable html section to be shown when the "expand" button is clicked. I need the expanded html to be shown within the grid itself (not outside the grid boundaries and not as a popup).

I looked at rowTemplate thinking I would be able to plugin my own html in there...but don't see how that can be done.
Is something like this possible with ng-grid..
Could you please point me to any ideas or plunkrs ?

I would love this feature too.To be able to show a "rich" row template programmatically, by clicking a button on the row or selecting a row would be great.

If we could set the row height #584 then you could use the rowTemplate to show whatever you need.

What you show seems to be the Kendo Angular Grid http://kendo-labs.github.io/angular-kendo/#/Grid

This would be a really powerful feature. I needed it before but had to do without after spending a very large portion of time trying to hack at one. I now need it again, was really hoping it was implemented in the latest release but I guess I have to use ng-table for now.
