Making a row editable on the fly

I am trying to make an individual row/cell editable based on a passed in Boolean. I know that I can make the whole column editable based on the canEdit property in the column defs. Please excuse any lack of knowledge on my part I'm just getting started with angular ui grid and angular js in general.

You can do this with the following in you gridoptions

cellEditableCondition: function($scope) {
  // put your enable-edit code here, using values from $scope.row.entity and/or $scope.col.colDef as you desire
}
