[use-case/integration] Items with Locked/Fixed Positons

As README states, you should be able to achieve this by using the options object. You should be able to set cancel and items properties without problem.
Also take a look at #225 for a more extreme use case.

Note: keep in mind that when you define custom callbacks in the options object, you should avoid doing any DOM manipulations.

Here is an example demonstrating the cancel option.
I did some investigation that is not finished in any means, but I think is a very good starting point for your needs.

I recently needed locked items in a list and since I passed through here in my attempts I thought I'd share how I ended up doing just that with minimal effort:

• Apply a class to each of the items in the list which needed to be locked

<ul ui-sortable="sortableOptions" ng-model="model.items" class="row">
    <li ng-repeat="item in model.items"
        class="item col-xs-6 col-sm-6 col-md-4 col-lg-3"
        ng-class="{ 'locked' : item.type !== 'manual'}">
    </li>
</ul>

• Set the items property on sortableOptions appropriately

$scope.sortableOptions = {
    items: "li:not(.locked)"
};

We're leveraging the fact that all the jQueryUI Sortable options can be passed through the directive, first line of the README on the options object. And here is a working demo @thgreasi posted up on codepen which is also in the README
