How to close a custom snackbar ?

I've searched in closed and opened issues but didn't find the answer. I don't understand why we can add an action for a snackbar but not for a custom snackbar. Maybe there is a way but I didn't find it.

What is the expected behavior?

I would like to be able to close a custom snackbar.

Secondly, what do you understand under a 'custom snackbar'? All snackbars can be closed over the snackBarRef with 'dismiss()' or 'dismissWithAction'.
