[Feature] - Accept Chrome Permission Dialogs

As far as I can tell, there seems to be no reproducible way to interact with chrome's permissions dialogs. In this case, it's for "Storing files on this device". It would be great if protractor had a method to deal with these.

threw

Property 'alert' does not exist on type 'WebElementPromise'

So I tried the usual browser.switchTo().alert().accept(), which errors out with

- Failed: no alert open

It seems its different than a usual alert.

Matthew, I had another problem related to native browser popups. But in my case it was needed just to close popup that is much easier. Depending on this experience I can say that one possible way to handle such popup is to simulate mouse click using pure JS and DOM Events. You can write a function which simulates click on selected point in browser window. I hope that it'll help you.

Also, if you just need to download file, you can do it with custom script.
