If you create a repo locally then you need to link that to a remote remo,below is how it is done git remote add origin https://github.com/anil4aws/git-funda.git git push -u origin main here -u means upstream which will allow not to mention origin from next time . so only git push is enough
git remote add origin https://github.com/anil4aws/git-funda.git git branch -M main git push -u origin main
