Automates timesheet entry with multiple rows and descriptions. You can select the From and To Date to automatically fill your timesheet.
- Google Chrome/ Edge/ Brave browser installed
- Look for the green "Code" button
- Click on it and select "Download ZIP"
- Choose a location on your computer to save the ZIP file
- Locate the downloaded ZIP file on your computer
- Right-click the ZIP file
- Windows: Select "Extract All..."
- Mac: Double-click the file to extract
- Linux: Right-click and select "Extract Here" or use:
unzip filename.zip
- Choose a destination folder for the extracted files
- Complete the extraction process
- Open Google Chrome
- Type
chrome://extensionsin the address bar and press Enter - Enable "Developer mode" by toggling the switch in the top-right corner
- Click the "Load unpacked" button that appears
- Navigate to the folder where you extracted the extension files
- Select the folder containing the
manifest.jsonfile e.g ( files in TimesheetAutomator-main folder) - Click "Select Folder" (Windows/Linux) or "Open" (Mac)
- The extension should now appear in your extensions list
- Look for the extension icon in the Chrome toolbar
- If you don't see it, click the puzzle piece icon to find it
- The extension status should show as "Enabled"
- Keep the extracted folder in a permanent location; deleting it will break the extension
- Chrome may disable the extension after browser updates; simply re-enable it if this happens
- Some extensions require additional configuration after installation
- Always download extensions from trusted sources to ensure security
