This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

• bug: theme selector crashes when filtering produces no results #8873: Theme selector crashes when filtering produces no results

These issues share a similar pattern where UI components crash when input filtering produces empty results. If the timeline crash is caused by similar undefined object access on empty result sets, it may be worth checking if the fix applied to #8873 (or #9466) can be adapted for the timeline component.
