OpenAI compatible setup and documentation not clear

Question

I have an openai-compatible api that Im using and testing with opencode. The CLI "/connect" options to do not list this as an option, nor do they list an "Other" option as mentioned in the documentation. Where and how do I setup the config file for both the CLI and VScode extension? I am not currently seeing any config files in the .local, .config, or .opencode directories on my WSL linux machine.

Same question, My only guess is that they didn't update their documentation and unfortunately deleted the option to use an OpenAI-compatible endpoint. This is a very strange decision in any way.

Okay now I understood the documentation is pretty misleading at the beginning. You need to follow making the opencode.json file only, not the /connect "Other" button instructions. Seems to be working

Yes, the /connect -> "Other" button instructions should be removed.

Ok, I was able to get this working finally with a properly formatted opencode.json file within my project. For anyone else viewing this issue I was also able to move the file to a ~/.config/opencode to be available in all projects.
