Update with Install and restart is failing in Windows 10

Description

There is some problem preventing new update to v1.2.11. Previous updates gone perfectly fine.

Desktop Windows x64 v1.2.10

Steps to reproduce

1. When started it detects v1.2.11
2. click install and restart
3. it fail in middle of installation process
4. existing v1.2.10 continue to work fine

Avast detects malware!

I'm experiencing the same issue. I clicked 'Abort', the process paused, and I eventually chose to cancel it. Surprisingly, I can still reopen the software and it displays version 1.2.11. However, I strongly suspect the installation is corrupted. While using it, my sessions inexplicably disappear and then reappear out of nowhere. I'm not sure if this behavior is related to the thread-locking issue mentioned in [#15010]

Yes, desktop executable looks fine. Only CLI problem.
