Invalid code on Claude Pro/Max

Description

When i try to connect to anthropic via the Claude Pro/Max, I get the auth link, go to it, copy token and when i paste it i get INVALID CODE.

An old session with Anthropic started throwing an 'Error: Token refresh failed: 429'. Re-authorization attempts result in an 'Invalid code' error.

Fixed in commit 5c2b6b11d. Resolved Claude Pro/Max invalid token authentication by removing non-functional UI option and enhancing OAuth error handling. Root cause was misleading UI showing unavailable OAuth option for Anthropic.

Ye guys can, as a workaround, just auth using Claude Code and then have a little script that copies over the tokens from ~/.claude/.credentials.json to ~/.local/share/opencode/auth.json (need to transform a little though, different formats - or just copy the 2 tokens and the expires manually).

I think there’s also a new community made plugin to work around this issue. Dax posted on twitter that claude sent its lawyers to opencode to have the official plugin removed.

Export Claude tokens from macOS Keychain to a JSON file
security find-generic-password -s "Claude Code-credentials" -w > ~/.claude/.credentials.json

Check the contents of the newly created file
cat ~/.claude/.credentials.json

Create the destination folder (if needed) and copy the tokens to OpenCode
mkdir -p ~/.local/share/opencode
cp ~/.claude/.credentials.json ~/.local/share/opencode/auth.json

That is not working for me, OpenCode simply ignores that auth json structure.

Instead of overwriting~/.local/share/opencode/auth.json just copy over the values from the exported credentials into the correct structure:
