Description

I think I ran a newer version of opencode, but then went back to 1.3.2. Fair enough something got messed up but maybe some better error handling might be useful here or at least having the log file actually exist.

The root cause in these cases is typically that running a different version (newer or beta) writes migration records to the shared database that confuse the version you downgrade to. The workaround mentioned in #16506 may help:

OPENCODE_SKIP_MIGRATIONS=1 bunx opencode-ai@dev

Just ran into the same issue. Workaround:
mv .local/share/opencode/opencode.db .local/share/opencode/opencode.db.old
and start opencode again.

But: currently when having multiple instances open they trash the database!

When opencode did start it ended up being very sluggish. Moving the database file out of the way also fixed the sluggishness.
