Input text disappears after permission-modal is shown

Description

This started happening after a new update, but if there's any text in the input as the agent is working, anytime it shows a permission modal, the input text is now cleared.

This was useful to write ongoing comments/questions as the agent was finishing a current task.

2. Write something in the input

3. Wait for a permission modal to showup. Accept/Reject, and the input text disappears.
