Opencode assumes my system, so I must ask it to read the system file I specifically put into the AGENTS.md file. I was hoping that it might know my system each startup by reading this, but apparently it cannot do this without a specific instruction each time to do so.
Maybe unrelated: Reference the issue I found #141 which notes "Injection occurs only when the agent uses the Read tool on a file, not at session start" - the fix expected was that instructions in AGENTS.md should run at startup, not just be read passively into context.
