Crash at start

Hello friends,

I currently face to an issue since few release.
I can't start opencode anymore.

When I start it on my terminal it just crash my terminal (wezterm) on debian testing.
I do not know how to investigate. Any clue/command to provide ?

For me it can be related to env.

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

• opencode (default mode) closes entire terminal window on Linux / i3wm #24077: opencode closes entire terminal window on Linux startup (same symptom: terminal closes silently when running opencode)

If your issue matches one of these, please add a comment there with your environment details (Debian testing + wezterm) rather than opening a new report. If it is genuinely different, please provide additional details such as the opencode version number and whether the workaround of running opencode serve and opencode attach separately works for you.

Yes look like similar, as I also use I3wm. opencode serve and opencode attach also lead to terminal crash.

Hey, thanks for reporting.

Can you collect opencode logs right after the bug happens?

1. Find the log directory:
   • opencode debug paths
   • On Linux, logs are usually under: ~/.local/share/opencode/log
2. Reproduce once with debug logs printed: opencode --print-logs --log-level DEBUG
3. After the bug appears, send:
   • the newest file(s) from ~/.local/share/opencode/log
   • the output of opencode debug info
   • the output of opencode debug paths

Log is empty.

Not very helpfull.

While trying to use workaround from #24077 it doesn't work:

$ opencode serve --port 4096
Warning: OPENCODE_SERVER_PASSWORD is not set; server is unsecured.
opencode server listening on http://127.0.0.1:4096

serving works ok, but when I try to attach - terminal window with attach command is closed.
