This reverts commit 37c5d1c.
…server and start_local_server. Now gives a warning when first attempt timed out and tries a second attempt with a doubled timeout.

Following PR#198, added a warning when a first TimedoutError is raised and a second attempt is made.
Also the timeout parameter is now available in both start_local_server() and connect_to_server().
