Is there a use case for this method, which is available? Using it leads to various errors.

This is not a bug but rather incorrect workflow.

@gyeole The issue is that the method is in the interface. Also that error is not being reported - instead a later error is reported on get_state.

For types with user-creatable == False, the Python classes (at the very least) should exclude the create method

removing the fluent label and @gyeole assignment on the assumption that we can query creatable via static info and conditionally remove create method from the Python object

@gyeole Can you confirm that user-creatable? is static information for all objects in which this is defined? If so, we could extend the static info function to include this information. We could do the same for fixed-size-list? and 'expose-child-named-objects?'.

I am using 22R2 in the back-end and saw the error as reported in my earlier post. Are you using 23R1?

I guess Fluent automatically assigns types to the different zones so having a create method does not make sense here then? i.e. it only makes sense to change the type from one thing to another. @h-krishnan

@h-krishnan running 23R1 I see the same as you have reported above.

So, we shall do this as client-side fix such that the name object container does not
have a create method if user-creatable? is False, right? Adding to roadmap.
