About the wheelhouse, it is a requirement that all your releases contain the wheelhouse for all supported OS and Python versions. A way to ensure it is to test it regularly in your workflows. It doesn't matter whether you run 1 of them or 8 of them since they are in matrix mode and they all last the same amount of time (+-). But again. Up to you. This is our recommendation. The requirement is that all releases contain the wheelhouse.
