HDF5

I have HDF5 file from CADWIND software this file has mesh and plies angles on it with certain thickness i need to read this file on ANSYS to perform FEA on it .

Mechanical APDL cannot import data from a HDF5 file and PyMAPDL has not implemented that (yet?). If you are a customer please open a technical support case as we first need to define a work-flow to do this; then figure out the PyAnsys path. ACP can read in the ply information but cannot read a mesh from a HDF5 file. I think some of the Ansys CFD mesh files are based on HDF5 and there could be a way there of extracting the mesh and getting it out as something MAPDL/PyMAPDL can work with.
