How should I upgrade from version 4.2.20?

Hi there,

Back when I downloaded this for the first time, the only way to install it was manually via adding it to custom_components, which is what I did. Everything is working fine, but would like to be on the latest version as I'd like to start playing with some automations and prefer to be on a solid foundation.

I currently have the component installed in custom_components/luxpower. Obviously I'd prefer to use the HACS option since it's now available.

Questions:

1. If I install the HACS version, I assume I should DELETE the custom_components/luxpower integration first?
2. Once the HACS version is installed, will my existing LuxPower integration, with its current entity names etc. still work, or will I have to update everything using those entities?
