This repo is not installed like an npm package. It contains skill folders and Claude Code plugin metadata.

If you are using Claude Code, the intended path is:

/plugin marketplace add anthropics/skills

Then install one of the plugin bundles:

/plugin install document-skills@anthropic-agent-skills
/plugin install example-skills@anthropic-agent-skills

After that, use a skill by asking for it explicitly, for example:

Use the PDF skill to extract the form fields from path/to/file.pdf

If you are using Claude.ai instead of Claude Code, the examples in this repo are mainly reference material; the README points to Claude.ai's Skills UI/docs for uploading or using skills there. If you are using the API, use the Skills API flow rather than cloning the repo into your project.

If installation still fails, the useful details to add are: which surface you are using (Claude Code, Claude.ai, or API), the exact command you ran, and the exact error message.
