From my understanding of skills (that could be partially wrong), it standardizes agent filesystem to be able to store custom prompts and scripts
It would be great to add the possibility to also store secrets / API keys and support authentication, that would enable a lot more
I'm working at scale up / SaaS company, skills seems wonderful but not enough to handle that part
Basically we would love that our customers upload a skills to their favourite LLM (chatGPT or Claude), then they can do CRUD on our SaaS with their own permissions
MCP allows this, but are complex to set up
