spotify in idle mode

Hej everyone.
I am using the card to visualize my spotify Media Player and this ist not also working fine with the Standard Media library.

But my issue is that I still need to use the spotify app to start streaming, since the card goes to idle mode. I cannot reactivate via the power button and I never had this with other Media player cards.

Anyone having a hint for me?!

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Is there some UI element that goes missing in idle mode? Which card are you using?

Ahhh you're saying the power button does nothing when pressed?

So from previous media cards I didn't know this idle mode. It always appeared the last song it had played. I just could start pressing the play button again. This would be my preferred solution.
But as mentioned, I tried with the power button cause I could imagine that this works, but it says that this is not supported by spotify

I'm fairly certain that your other media cards will show the same results. Mediocre is using the supported features reported by the media player entity, to determine what actions are possible.
In addition to that this card will only show the state (idle/off) if theres no title in attributes. The same title every other media player card uses. So im not sure how your other cards can show the last song while this card cant.
Are you absolutely sure there is a problem with this card specifically, or just a spotify issue?

So for me it was definitively possible before with the bubble card Player.
But it's a good point and I will test it today, I never doubt it that maybe spotify has changed it ...

So I did some further investigations and also tried to reset the spotify integration.
I found out that spotify changed the behavior of the API setting it to idle mode after x minutes.
Other cards have the same "issue".

If someone has any good workaround for that, please share.
