coloring the tags

Is there a way to color the tags for easy UI/UX eye grouping than typing the entire tag in filter edit box?
The problem I am trying to resolve is group DAG by a particular use case. Like we have several DAG for automating a specific type of solution. So based on solution type, I would like to group those DAGs in UI without asking users to filter it. We use Tag to represent a specific solution type. Since all solution type DAG showup in same colored tag, its not easy way for user to browse.
