Summary of Changes

Hello @damccorm, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request updates the versions of various Google Cloud Platform libraries and related dependencies, primarily driven by an upgrade to the 'google_cloud_platform_libraries_bom'. The changes aim to align the project's dependency versions with those used in some Long Term Support (LTS) packaging, ensuring consistency and potentially addressing compatibility or stability concerns across the codebase.

Highlights

  • GCP BOM Upgrade: The Google Cloud Platform Libraries Bill of Materials (BOM) has been upgraded from version 26.74.0 to 26.75.0, ensuring alignment with LTS packaging.
  • Dependency Version Updates: Several key dependency versions were updated, including 'gax_version' (2.73.1 to 2.74.0), 'protobuf_version' (4.33.0 to 4.33.2), and 'google_cloud_datastore_v1_proto_client' (2.33.2 to 2.33.3).
  • OpenTelemetry Downgrade: The 'opentelemetry_version' was specifically downgraded from 1.52.0 to 1.51.0, likely for compatibility or stability reasons within the updated BOM.

🧠 New Feature in Public Preview: You can now enable Memory to help Gemini Code Assist learn from your team's feedback. This makes future code reviews more consistent and personalized to your project's style. Click here to enable Memory in your admin console.
