Is your feature request related to a problem or challenge?
We want to improve performance on object storage. For that we need to improve our IO / CPU pipelining (e.g. prefetching).
We want to measure the impact of improvements on benchmarks.
Describe the solution you'd like
Add a ObjectStore implementation that introduces S3-like latencies.
