What happened

The API for loading Jira issues was updated from the endpoint /rest/api/2/search to /rest/api/3/search/jql.

What do you expect to happen

The integration that loads JIRA issues uses the new endpoint.

How to reproduce

Generate a connection to JIRA and pull a board.

Hi @rafaelpollis! I'm Dosu and I’m helping the incubator-devlake team.

The Jira API endpoint /rest/api/2/search has been removed, which causes pipeline failures in Apache DevLake v1.0.2-beta9 when connecting to Jira. This issue is fixed in newer versions of DevLake—recent pull requests (#8559, #8607, #8608) update the integration to use the new endpoint /rest/api/3/search/jql and resolve related bugs.

The main change is updating the endpoint URL; request parameters and authentication remain the same, and the fix maintains backward compatibility. There’s no official migration guide or documentation for this update, but upgrading DevLake to a version that includes these fixes will restore Jira integration.
