Agree about the dataView column alignment bug. I suppose dataView was built for multiple series with a common category axis. For other scenarios, like yours, one could customize with optionToContent.
However, your data could be simplified into a single series rather than two. And then dataView would be appropriate - Demo.

There is a bug in the chart after editing the data. dataView.readOnly:false allows for data editing and works ok, but then the chart is shown with most bars missing.
