You get reduced overhead during percentile calculation, see this code from |
Histrogram metrics use "long" values anyway and therefore, there is no NaN in the DescriptiveStatistics' data.

What is the purpose of the change
Histogram metrics report
longvalues and therefore, there is noDouble.NaNinDescriptiveStatistics' data and there is no need to cleanse it while working with it.Please note that this PR is based on #8877.
