I wasn't sure where to put this. We've been using the latest source(1.0.0.M6) for this plugin to take advantage of some of the fixes. One problem that we have been facing is the issue described here https://jira.mongodb.org/browse/JAVA-263 for the Java driver. In the dependencies.groovy file for this plugin, we have changed compile("org.mongodb:mongo-java-driver:2.4") to compile("org.mongodb:mongo-java-driver:2.5.3") and that solved our issues. It appears that any 2.5+ version will fix the java.lang.NullPointerException at com.mongodb.DBTCPConnector$MyPort.get(DBTCPConnector.java:296). This is more of an FYI if you haven't seen this one yet.
