thank you @lxxawfl for raising this. there is actually much bigger implication when upgrading hadoop. please check out previous work in https://github.com/apache/hudi/pull/5786/files . basically it's not possible to simply update the version number. related JIRA https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HUDI-2955 |
