The extensions are for JUnit 5 as their extensions framework is fairly different from the old rules API. They don't interact. |

I tried using
org.apache.logging.log4j.test.junit.LoggerContextFactoryExtension, but somehow I couldn't make it work (maybe incompatible withorg.apache.logging.log4j.core.test.junit.LoggerContextRule?
