What happened
Creating a JPA persistence unit for a project with run configuration TomEE 8.0.11 still sticks to JPA 2.0.
How to reproduce
Create a web application for EE 8. Choose a TomEE 8.0.11 run configuration. Choose create new file, persistence unit.
