Segment Merge Task Inconsistency Following PR #10991 Implementation #14892
Description
After we updated to Apache Pinot version 1.2.0, which incorporates the modifications from PR #10991, we noticed discrepancies in the Segment Merge Minion Task. In particular, the task sometimes fails to properly combine segments, which results in disparities in the merged segments.
