Multiple pulsar clients in an application with same subscription

I have an application deployed in k8s with multiple pods. Each pod is creating a separate Pulsar client and then uses that client to create multiple Producers and consumers. So, 1 pod has 1 pulsar client that is used to create multiple producers and consumers.

Now each consumer in each pod has subscribed to same topic with same subscription name. My question is,

in such scenario, can I assume that different consumers (spread across multiple pods) use a common subscription or since client is different in each pod, every pod uses the different subscription even though name of subscription is same across all pods.
