sending timestamps or dates within a schema

When using my python client, I don't find a way to assign to the data I want to send, the type timestamp or date.
The only data types I can use are ones that can be found in :

How can I send timestamps or dates?

I would really like this to be possible!

The issue had no activity for 30 days, mark with Stale label.
