Instructions and Tips for building Expert Advisors and Custom Indicators for Alveo

  • Step #1: Download and Install free Visual Studio 2017 Community version from https://www.visualstudio.com/downloads/

  • Step #2: Download and install the most recent Alveo platform application from: https://apiaryfund.com/software.

  • Step #3: From the Alveo Github repository https://github.com/apiaryfund/Alveo, download and extract the Alveo Code and AlveoSampleSolutions files from there.

  • Step #4: Locate the AlveoSampleSolution.sln file in your extract directory and double click on the sln file to load the solution into Visual Studio 2017. Under the Visual Studio's Build menu, select Rebuild Solution to build the Alveo Sample application.
