Platform default environment variable

Hi,

I didn't find in the repo any mention of an option to define a default platform like you can define it for Docker DOCKER_DEFAULT_PLATFORM.
Is there something similar, or is it planned to add?
Tryed CONTAINER_DEFAULT_PLATFORM and CONTAINER_PLATFORM both failed with
Error: unsupported: "platform linux/arm64"

We never created the issue for your ask though. There is one now, though: #1252.
