Session History Search

Claude Code already captures complete session history in ~/.claude/projects/. This release adds tools to query that data.

The Problem

Ever asked yourself:

• "How did we implement X last time?"
• "What happened about Y in the last 2 days?"
• "Didn't we already do this?"

The answers are in your session history - but buried in JSONL files across hundreds of sessions.

The Solution

session-db.py - SQLite-indexed search across all your Claude Code sessions.

Performance

• Indexes 2000+ sessions (90K+ actions) in ~3 seconds
• Queries return in <30ms
• Database: 38MB vs 1.3GB raw JSONL

What Gets Indexed

• All tool calls (Bash commands, file edits, reads, searches)
• Timestamps for temporal queries
• Cross-project search capability
