[Bug]: Removing '?branch=master' from the deployed URL throws 404 Error

Description

In an airgapped instance,
Removing ?branch=branchname from url throws 404 error

Steps To Reproduce

1. Create an application
2. Connect application to git
3. Deploy the application
4. Remove ?branch=master from the url
5. App will throw 404 (happens intermittently)
