Live stream downloads failing in v1.1.0 (HTTP Error 403: Forbidden)

I’ve been using a well-tested preset for downloading YouTube live stream audio for a long time. However, after updating to v1.1.0, live streams have stopped downloading.

My current configuration:

The Error:
When attempting to download, I receive the following error:
'Title_of_the_video' failed to download. ERROR: [download] Got error: HTTP Error 403: Forbidden

Current status:
I have rolled back to version v1.0.15, and everything works perfectly fine there. The issue seems to be specific to the v1.1.0 update.

Is anyone else experiencing this, or is there a change in how live streams should be handled in the new version?

I haven't really noticed anything

the only things that was touched that may effect is is via these two commits

I dont see how. please share the preset via the export button and some of those live links you are having problem with

Sure, I can share the preset.
preset.txt
Please note that this preset includes my personal proxy server settings. You will need to manually remove that line from the configuration.

Here is an example of a live stream link: https://www.youtube.com/live/h392oHlXE4I?si=gfHmZOLM0HtpMJ40

However, to properly reproduce the issue, you’ll likely need to test it on a stream that is currently live and hasn't finished yet.

using yt-dlp directly result in same thing so i assume yt-dlp need to be updated

No error this time. That's strange. I'll keep an eye on it.

The only difference between the two it seems the last one is ended stream while this one is still in-going

i would do yt-dlp -vU url and post that in yt-dlp help channel in discord to see if it's known issue

Yup the video is still in Video is in Post-Live Manifestless mode so it will take a while for it to generate the manifests it's known issue for like years now. i think we even had flag to prevent downloading them

FYI seems there is also an issue with youtube, check recent commit yt-dlp/yt-dlp@d20f58d
