Hi everyone 👋
I'd like to share Bella, an open-source (MIT) Eclipse plug-in that brings Claude and other models into the ABAP editor in ADT.
What it does
How it works with ARC-1
Bella ships its own ADT tools (read, context, where-used, ATC, …) that run through your existing ADT logon. ARC-1 can be added under Preferences → Bella → SAP-Tools & ARC-1, over HTTP or locally via
npx -y arc-1@latest. By default Bella's ADT tools win when both offer the same capability; you can prefer ARC-1 instead when governance should run centrally (abaplint, audit log, rate limits, package allowlist).Status
v0.4.2. The ARC-1 integration and the chat tools need broader testing, so feedback from people running ARC-1 is very welcome.
Thanks to the ARC-1 maintainers for the great foundation!
