v1.3.0 - musiTui command

The player now installs as the musiTui command, and the AUR package is renamed to musitui.

What's new

• The command is musiTui. It used to install as MP3Player, which matched neither the project nor anything you would guess. MP3Player stays as a deprecated symlink so existing installs keep working; it will be removed in a future release.
• AUR package renamed from minimalist-mp3-player to musitui, with provides/conflicts/replaces so upgrades migrate cleanly.
• Release binaries are now named musiTui-linux-x86_64 and musiTui-macos-arm64.
• The install guide shows how to get the command on your PATH instead of running the binary out of your downloads folder.

Fixed

• macOS builds work again. FTXUI was compiled with Apple Clang while the app was linked with Homebrew GCC, so libc++ archives met libstdc++ and every ftxui symbol came back undefined. Both are now built with one toolchain.
• Restored the test, fuzzer and benchmark CMake targets, which were dropped by an editing mistake in the 1.2.0 line.
• The make wrapper rejected any CMake generator whose name contains a space.

Note for Arch users

The AUR has been stuck on 1.0.3 since March. Upgrading now also brings everything from 1.1.x and 1.2.0: FLAC and WAV playback, async library loading, and the output-device fixes.

v1.2.0 - FLAC and WAV support

musiTui now plays FLAC and WAV alongside MP3.

What's new

• FLAC playback via dr_flac. 16 and 24-bit, up to 192 kHz, mono and stereo.
• WAV playback via dr_wav. 8, 16, 24 and 32-bit PCM, 32-bit float and IMA ADPCM, all normalised to 16-bit on the way out.
• Albums, playlists and the library scanner pick up the new formats automatically; a directory mixing MP3, FLAC and WAV works as one album.

Fixed

• Song durations are now exact. They were estimated from file size against an assumed 192 kbps, which is roughly right for MP3 and badly wrong for lossless. Duration now comes from the stream length the container declares, so MP3 times are exact too rather than approximate.
• The audio ring buffer is sized for 192 kHz instead of 48 kHz. At the old size, hi-res files would have played with a quarter of the intended buffer and underrun.
• The make wrapper rejected any CMake generator whose name contains a space, such as Unix Makefiles.

Notes

• Multichannel files (5.1 and above) are rejected on open rather than played incorrectly. The playback path is mono/stereo.
• Ogg-FLAC (.oga) is not supported; .flac is the native container only.

Internals: decoder selection moved behind a single registry, so formats are added in one place instead of scattered extension checks. Test coverage for both new decoders, including truncated and wrong-container input.
