Tasmota LVGL Binary for ESP32-S3

Which binary should I use for LVGL support on a ESP32-S3 with 8MB PSRAM?

Is it tasmota-lvgl.factory.bin or is there another binary specifically for ESP32-S3?

Absolutely not that one, not only because it does not exist anywhere. Maybe you meant tasmota32-lvgl.factory.bin but that's not for ESP32-S3.

Binaries for ESP32-S3 have names starting with tasmota32s3. There are some "unofficial" development builds here:

Do select the one to match the flash/PSRAM type of access of your variant, both can be qio or opi. The combination qio_opi is commonly seen in devices with on-chip PSRAM.

The module type is : ESP32-S3-WROOM-1 N16R8

This is what esptool says:

Yeah, esptool.py output is not the way for checking variant, but it does look like you are in accordance with the data sheet:

Thanks. I did update the post with above table as well but that update has gone missing.

Anyway yes my decision was after looking at the datasheet too.

BTW, for curiosity I installed esp32s3-lvgl.factory.bin

There is no esp32s3-lvgl.factory.bin, maybe you meant the name you posted 17 hours ago, which I already confirmed as reasonable for ESP32-S3-WROOM-1-N16R8. Or something else?

Of course, after installation, next step is to configure gpios and the display type setup, both very much depending on your hardware. And I'd recommend using HASPmota unless you specifically want to use the lower level LVGL.
