Application stuck with deleting state. Would like to know options available to cancel that delete operation.

Scenario :
Accidentally deleted a resource from git and with auto-sync enabled , Argo synced and is now stuck in deleting state .

I did not find a terminate option like we do have have for sync on UI :

We have some mechanism that deny deletion of this resource because of which the resources didnt actually get deleted that caused the application now be stuck in deleting state .

Requirement :
Would like to cancel that deletion operation and then pause application syncs so that I can restore the deleted resouce.
Looking for some available options here.
