Summary

  • Renamed all product-name references from "Aris" to "RSM Studio" across the codebase
  • "Aris Preprint" renamed to "RSM Preprint" in citation components
  • Preserved "The Aris Program" references (company/legal context, not product name)
  • Updated 28 files: UI strings, documentation, CLI docstrings, test fixtures, page titles, logo alt text

  • Frontend unit tests pass (1989/1989, 3 pre-existing cssLoader failures unrelated)
  • CI runs full test suite

codebase. 'The Aris Program' (company name) references are preserved in

What changed: All user-visible product name references renamed from "Aris" to "RSM Studio" (and "Aris Preprint" → "RSM Preprint") across 28 files — UI strings, page titles, loading messages, citation components, and documentation.

Review checklist:

  1. Open the deploy preview: https://deploy-preview-317--rsm-studio-frontend.netlify.app
  2. Check the browser tab — title should read "RSM Studio - Documents"
  3. Hard-refresh the page and verify the loading spinner says "Loading RSM Studio..."
  4. Navigate to /demo and verify the banner reads "Demo Mode - Experience RSM Studio workspace with sample content"
  5. Open a published document's citation drawer and verify it references "RSM Studio Preprint" (not "Aris Preprint") in plain text, BibTeX, and source sections
  6. Check the sidebar logo alt text (inspect element) — should say "RSM Studio logo"
  7. Visit the login page and confirm the subheading says "RSM Studio" (not "Aris Studio")
  8. Open Settings → Document and verify the sample content says "RSM Studio" not "Aris"

What to look for:

  • No remaining "Aris" references where "RSM Studio" is intended (note: "The Aris Program" company references are intentionally preserved)
  • Citation formats (plain, BibTeX, source panel) all consistently say "RSM Studio Preprint"
  • No layout breakage from longer "RSM Studio" string replacing shorter "Aris" (especially sidebar logo, page title, demo banner)
  • E2E smoke test regex /RSM Studio/ matches the actual page title
