Switching to FM radio during VCO RX

Hi,

Got a question. If the radio is in VCO mode on a frequency receiving a beacon, then trying to switch to a local FM radio channel (using F + FM) seems to put the device in a weird state where the firmware doesn't respond to key inputs.

Am I doing something silly here ? Disconnecting the antenna so the active RX stops allows key input.

I'm on a UV-K5 8 V3 with the Fusion FW release v4.3

Hello,

Radio reception via the BK4829 has priority over the BK1080 (which handles Broadcast FM reception). Therefore, it is completely normal that you cannot switch to Broadcast FM in this specific situation.

Ok understood. It does however get into a weird state where I can't use the up(B) / down(C) keys if I press F-0(FM) in the middle of a radio reception. I have to hit exit, more of a FYI now that I know what's going on.
