Yeah - we can get this done. I have totally neglected the TV-aspect of this and will look into some possibilities both for resolution and support for other devices (e.g. Apple tv). I'll officially link to your written docs tonight (after I get home from work and fulfill my other duties). Please do create an issue if you'd like, and if you have any other good ideas let me know! You're very kind @arnegiacomo! Thanks for looking at the resolutions. As it happens, I do have one other idea: different colour backgrounds! Reason is that TVs backlights mean art with white/pale backgrounds are a bit glaring and don't work as well as art with darker backgrounds. I think this might be a big ask though 😬 I tried changing the I've also tried using more AI on it - it looks like it might be doable to run it through some AI image processing to clean up the sources more but after burning through my token allowances, results are mixed. This one came out really well: 
But this one wasn't so great (look at the red beak and the perch): 
Happy to keep looking at it and to try and propose something, but what do you think? Do you have any ideas on how to approach this? Also I do appreciate it might not be something you're interested in as It does take it away from your original use of e-ink displays. |

Yeah that totally makes sense, I'm thinking a black background could be pretty nice and sleek. I've really gone for the paper look, and wanted to simplify the process of finding and cutting assets, so that all the paper doesnt need to be fully removed and it can just blend with/as the "halo". I'd like to keep it this way as it achieves the following:
If you find some way of drawing this on a dark background without having to reprocess all assets please let me know! That would be a very welcome addition. |

Hey @arnegiacomo thanks so much for building Fugleramme. As per your request on Reddit I've written up how to get the collage onto a Samsung Frame TV here
Feel free to incorporate or link to it however you see fit (if you want to). It's maybe more complicated and hacky than you'd think, which is why I didn't add it into your docs.
Now, if I can be cheeky I've got one request for the backlog! Please can you add 3840x2160 as a supported resolution to make full use of the 16:9 screen? Supporting the native resolution of the TV will also allow folks to add a matte to the image from the TV software, which would probably look quite cool. Happy to create an issue if you think it's worth adding?
