Is C++ still the "Gold Standard" for Competitive Programming in 2026?

I’ve been tracking contests on CLIST lately and noticing a huge surge in Python and Rust solutions for Div. 3 rounds. While C++ has the speed, modern compilers and the 'developer experience' of newer languages are catching up.

For those of you active in the community, are you sticking with STL or have you migrated to something else? What’s your 'deal-breaker' feature that keeps you on your current language?
